Head-Rite Driving School run a very popular and successful One Day Intensive Program.
This program allows clients to do all their training and the VORT in one day.
This program is completed within 8 hours. A general breakdown of the day may consist of the following –
7:00AM – 9:00 | training, including all of the manoeuvres |
9:00 – 9:30 | break |
9:30 – 11:30 | training, including a mock assessment |
11:30 – 12:00 | break |
12:00 – 13:45 | training, focussing on the aspects which arose during the mock assessment |
13:45-14:00 | brief break, stretch, cool down, coffee |
14:00 | meet the examiner and commence VORT |
This is naturally modified to suit the individual needs of the client.
This program is suitable for clients who:
have completed at least 70 of their 75 required hours of supervised driving
are confident, competent drivers
have good knowledge of road rules
have driven in all sorts of city environments
have the stamina and concentration to have all their VORT training condensed into one 8 hour day
A free retest is offered to anyone who is not successful in the VORT at the end of a One Day Intensive Program. (CONDITIONS APPLY)
The conditions for the free retest are:
-
the free retest must be taken within 31 days of the original booked test (so the training is still fresh)
-
the client must undertake a lesson just prior to the VORT, to revise the skills taught. The client must pay for this
-
the client is only eligible for the free retest if they had completed, and it was recorded and sighted by a member of our company in the logbook section of their Driving Companion, at least 70 hours of supervised driving before their One Day Intensive Program
